When I was in high school I wished that I could stand up for myself

Starting slow

I want you to start practicing whatever it is that you want to do. It can be speaking up in class, standing up for yourself, learning a new thing, join the club you’ve always wanted to join… whatever you want.

If you can’t think of anything, just practice being confident (by sitting up right on your chair in class, walking the school hallways with your shoulders back, talking to the boy you like…).

It won’t feel right at the beginning, but keep going.

Do a new thing once a week.
